Examples.
– Sign-internal : strong phonological form (impression) ↔ intensive meaning. For all semantic profiles of emphasis.
– Sign-peripherical : form giving the impression of noise ↔ ‘strong noise’ meaning. Only for a particular semantic profile of emphasis (triggered by the word ‘trumpet’, for example).
